Meet The Doctor

Dr. Zahir Khokhar is one of the few dentists in the U.S. who specializes in both periodontics (the treatment of gum disease) and prosthodontics (the restoration and replacement of missing or damaged teeth). With this dual expertise, he is able to provide an extraordinary level of comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for patients.

Dr. Khokhar graduated with a D.D.S. degree from the University of Detroit. He received his M.S. degree in prosthodontics from the University of Michigan and a specialty certificate in periodontics as well as an M.S. in health sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina. He keeps current with the latest dental techniques and treatment modalities by taking many hours of continuing education each year.

Dr. Khokhar is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association of Oral Medicine & Toxicology, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Union County Dental Society.
